1 keep the parameters of tight side discharge port unchanged

2. Try to keep "full" running

Giving only a small amount of raw materials will not reduce the cone crusher burden, on the contrary, too little raw materials will not only damage the product output, poor grain shape, and will have an adverse impact on the cone crusher bearings.

According to the working principle of cone crusher, the actual power of cone crusher should not be less than 40% of the rated power.In order to obtain proper "load bearing positioning" and maximize productivity, the actual power of the cone crusher should be maintained between 40% and 100% of the rated power, and 75% to 95% of the rated power in operation is the best choice.

5 Ensure even feeding

Once the feeding is not uniform, due to the abnormal increase in volume density, the side with small particle size concentrated stone is prone to compaction and blocking, resulting in adjustment ring pulsation.In the face of the runout of the adjustment ring caused by blocking material, the operation personnel will be forced to increase the discharge port parameters, resulting in the increase of product particle size.In the long run, this will also cause adjustment ring damage and other problems, resulting in greater production losses.

 

6 minimize the retention of buffer silo, improve the efficiency of production line


Cone crusher buffer bin as the "enemy of output", this equipment and other related equipment also need to be carefully arranged.

It is suggested that the appropriate use of buffer silos/hoppers, adjustable speed feeders (conveyor belt, plate vibration feeders) for the operation of cone crushers can be carried out in a "full" state for a long time, and the yield of cone crushers can be easily increased by 10%.

 

7. Accurately grasp the upper limit of the three designs of the cone crusher


Cone crusher has three upper limits: upper limit of passing capacity (capacity), upper limit of power, upper limit of crushing force.

The upper limit of cone crusher capacity refers to the maximum passing capacity of the crusher. A cone crusher running "full" has reached the maximum passing capacity.The actual power of the crusher will increase when the feed is increased and the material is broken finer.With the same power, the crushing force generated between the cone crusher bowlshaped tile and the crushing wall will increase with the increase of the feeding amount and the finer crushing of the material. When the crushing force exceeds the upper limit, the adjustment ring will bounce and loosen.

Ideal operation when the crusher operates at the maximum capacity, the actual power and crushing rate are still slightly below the upper limit.Operating in a state beyond the upper limit of rated power and crushing force will cause excessive load and permanent fatigue damage to the cone crusher, which is irreversible and will continue to accumulate, ultimately shortening the service life of the cone crusher.

 

8 Ensure to operate within the upper limit of crusher design


If the cone crusher runs beyond the upper limit of crushing force (adjust ring beating) or beyond the rated power, you can: slightly increase the side discharge port parameters, and try to ensure "full" operation.The advantage of "full" operation is that there will be stone beating process in the crushing cavity, which can maintain the grain shape of the product when the discharge port is slightly larger;Or reduce feeding rate, but this may not ensure good grain shape.

9 Monitor and try to ensure the appropriate crusher speed


Influence if not maintain the proper transmission belt tension, incorrect or neglect drive maintenance, in the work will appear belt skid, crusher speed drop phenomenon.At the same time, the consumption of electricity increases sharply, the unit energy consumption rises, and the operation cost increases.

It is suggested that rotation speed monitoring device can be installed in the middle shaft and connected to PLC or directly connected to alarm device. 10 Control the fine content of feed


Fine material in feeding: into the stone into the crusher, the particle size is equal to or less than the material set at the edge discharge port.According to experience, for the secondary cone crusher, the content of fine material in the feed should not exceed 25%;Three - stage cone crusher feed of fine material content should not exceed 10%.

The cause and influence of excessive fine material is usually caused by the vibration screen, the screen hole diameter is not enough or the screening capacity is not enough may cause the problem.Too much fine material will lead to insufficient utilization of power and abnormal increase of unit energy consumption in the crushing process.

 

11. The feeding height should not be too high


For small and medium cone crusher, the maximum suitable height from feeding equipment to feed mouth is about 0.9 meters.If the feeding height is too high, the stone is easy to "rush" into the crushing cavity at high speed, which will cause impact load on the crusher and break force or power beyond the upper limit of the design.

Affecting the problem will cause excessive pressure or tension on the crusher components, resulting in additional maintenance costs and low production.
