1 Overview


A cement grinding system of a company was completed and put into production in March 2008. The production process is a combined grinding system designed by Tianjin Institute (roller press, V-selection, high-selection). When designing the table, it is 180t/h for ♯1, 150t/h for ♯2, and the annual output is 2 million tons.

The grinding system shows the advantages of combined grinding in the production process. The time is higher and the energy consumption is lower, but there are also serious problems, mainly the concentrated distribution of particles, unreasonable grading, and the standard consistency water for grinding. The amount is very high (average 28.91%, ♯2 grinding average 29.16%), the adaptability of cement and admixture is not good. Especially in the case of a downturn in the market and a severe winter in the cement industry, customer feedback is stronger and sales are significantly lower.

In order to meet the needs of customers and win the market, the company has effectively reduced the standard consistency of cement and improved the adaptability of cement by adding appropriate amount of wet slag to the cement ratio and other process modifications.

2 Cause analysis and transformation measures


Due to the high working efficiency of the roller press, the extruded finished granules are particularly concentrated and mostly needle-shaped. About 12% of the fine powder is directly into the finished product through V selection and high selection, and the remaining 88.0% of the granule refiner In addition, the grinding machine is also concentrated, so that the particle grading of the grinding cement is concentrated, the sphericity is not good, and the porosity between the particles and the particles is large, resulting in a high standard consistency of the cement, and poor adaptability to the admixture. .

According to the analysis results, combined with the actual production, the following solutions were determined through the joint discussion of the technicians.

(1) According to the different characteristics of slag, clinker and limestone wearability, using a selective grinding principle, a certain amount of wet slag and limestone are added before the roller press, and the slag is the most wearable and can clink the clinker. By exerting strength, the limestone wearability is best to effectively fill the gaps between the particles and broaden the particle gradation of the cement. In addition, the moisture in the wet slag can make the clinker of the roller press into a cake having a uniform thickness, which solves the problem that the roll gap fluctuates greatly and the deviation is large.

(2) Renovate the high-efficiency classifier, increase the powder collector's returning powder chute directly to the person's dust collector duct, and install an adjustable baffle to allow some of the powder to enter the finished product as needed, and increase the coarseness of the finished cement. The particle content adjusts the composition of the cement particles.



 

It can be seen that after the transformation:


(1) The standard consistency of cement is reduced, the adaptability of cement is obviously improved, customer satisfaction is improved, and complaints are reduced.

(2) In the case of the same ratio of clinker, the early strength of the cement is increased by 1-2 MPa, and the strength of 28d is also slightly improved. Therefore, under the condition of ensuring the satisfaction of the customer, the cookedness is reduced by about 1%. The material ratio has saved the cement cost by 2.07 yuan/t.

(3) The purchase price of slag is 93 yuan/t, and the purchase price of mineral powder is 183 yuan/t. Due to the addition of slag, part of the mineral powder is replaced. Therefore, the cost per ton of slag is 90 yuan, which increases the profit margin.

(4) The output of Taiwan increased from 193.3t/h to 200t/h, and the ♯2 grinding increased from 146.6t/h to 150t/h, saving electricity consumption by 0.07 yuan/t.

(5) After adding wet slag, the problem of large fluctuations in nip and large deviation is effectively solved.

3 Conclusion


(1) At present, the cement grinding of most cement plants adopts the combined grinding system of roller press and ball mill. Although the power consumption is low, the cement particles are concentrated and the water demand is high. After adding a part of wet slag before the roller press, the standard consistency of the cement is reduced by 1.0% on average, which significantly improves the adaptability of the cement, reduces the water consumption of the concrete, and improves the customer satisfaction.

(2) According to the wet-grinding characteristics of wet slag and limestone, the specific surface area of ​​cement is improved by about 10t per hour while improving the gradation, and the annual output is increased by about 72,000 tons, and the annual economic benefit is about 700. Ten thousand yuan.

(3) After adding wet slag and limestone, the specific surface area of ​​the milled cement is obviously improved, the early strength of cement is increased by 2.0 MPa, the clinker is saved by about 1.0%, the cost of ton of cement is about 4 yuan, and the annual cost is about 8 million yuan. .
